Beach Towels

Choosing beach towels

• Dimensions. Check the measurements for lying down, wrapping up or drying off. A large-size label does not identify a standard towel size.
• Fabric. Compare the stated fibre composition and construction. Use documented features rather than assuming absorbency or drying speed from a photograph.
• Pack and care. Confirm the number of towels, selected design and washing instructions. Check packed dimensions or weight if these are provided for travel.

Comparing options

Consider whether the towel is mainly for drying, sitting on the sand or carrying in a day bag. Compare its full dimensions with the space available in your bag. Products described as sand-free or quick-drying should be assessed using the specific construction and care information supplied.
